I haven't written in awhile, I've been busy. Work is goin well, still no billings, but I'm workin on it. Things with me and Paul are back on the level they need to be...he's so swell. We got an aquarium last week which multiplied over the weekend. Trey (parrot fish) has decided he wants a career in redecorating, so he's practicing by rearranging the plants in the tank.
We went to a wedding over the weekend for Paul's friend Alex. He hasn't seen most of those guys since graduation so it was a lot of fun. The best part was the bartender was more than generous! I got to see Missy Pissy poo too on Sunday. She's got a new man in GR, so we went to look him over and he passed!
I have to figure out a way to feed 40 people over the weekend, lots of veggies, this should be ineteresting.
I fell asleep last night at 6:30....I'm so refreshed its FUCKING NUTS!

I'm super excited, Lauren will be here next month and we're going to pee on customs people! Wheeeee!!! I'm sure I said this in the last entry, but I can't remember and I'm not taking the time to look, but I'm so excited she's the first FTJer to visit me and my wonderous city of Deeetroit. My dad already said I could have a day off work too if I need to take it so I'm stoked, it'll be some good fun!
I started a new workout yesterday, I've been running the stairs and doing a workout with weights that Nick gave to me. He's put together a workout that works for me with my shabby knees/ankles and my asthma. The exercise inducedness (is that a word?) has gotten worse over the years, but I'm hoping that my body will adjust. I get paid on Friday so I'm going to go buy a bike. I'm hoping to snag a decent used one to cruise around on. I don't want to get a good one because we know what happens to nice shiney things while in Detroit....
Tonight we have to work on the fliers for Kit and Brett's pre-wedding bash. They have to get out ASAP. We also have to sit down and plan everything out. The only sure thing is the drunk canoe race on sunday...

Ahh, last night was grand, the power of the right outfit and some trashy make-up has such an effect on someones pissy moods. Ice and oral actions don't hurt either! Paul found out that he gets off early today for all his hard work the past week, so we're able to leave early for camping!! YAY! Maybe all that stress at work was good afterall, we can now get a 3 hour start on our leave! All I want this weekend is a sunny place to be scantilly clad in my new bikini. Hopefully no whale jokes will be made.
I'm super excited at the news that Lauren will be visiting next month!!! :D She'll be my first FTJer to come see me, I'm so glad its her. I'm gonna take her out on the town Detroit style and she can see that I'm a silly goof in person too.
I'm super pissed off, a bunch of new things BROKE this morning while I was getting ready!! boooooo! I got a new bra with clear straps, I've worn it 2x and the strap broke!! Ugh, it can be worn as a strapless, but shit, I need support from straps too, thats the whole reason I got it! Hopefully I can find some straps online. Then my brand new, never worn hair clip fucking broke. I know its cheap, but SHEEEEEEEIT. I threw the receipt out too, oh well.

Ok, I'm very easy going and understanding when it comes to getting all pissy and stress etc. But lately Paul has been Mr. Pissy Pants on a constant basis. Every little thing gets him upset and grumpy and just plain bitchy. I get this way from time to time, so I understand, but we're going on a week now and its getting a bit out of hand. I know he gets stressed because of work, but I just don't get why his new thing is to take it out on me. :(
So get this, today I asked if we could go out to Tim and Robin's because I havent' seen them in a long time. Tim and I used to be super close, we spent most days chillin out and being stupid. He's very important to me and we've lost touch the past 2 years. I finally found his number last night and I'm so stoked to go hang out with them!! So Paul gets mad that I asked if we could go out there. He goes into this rant about we have to go camping this weekend and this ruins everything....blah blah blah, you're friends suck because we have to drive out there what kind of friends are they?!?! (mind you, I never said we had to go out there, this was mearly a suggestion) This conversation went on for 20 minutes this morning. I kept saying, well we can see them on Sunday, maybe they'll come out here and see the new place...And all he does is rant about what shitty friends they are since they expect us to go out there all the time. When I would ask him to settle down and listen to me I'd just get "Whatever...."
I've asked him to calm down and not to stress, because its not an issue. I'm trying to be understanding and I'm trying to just deal with it, but I'm starting to get super annoyed. I never bitch and moan about him, so this is really getting to me.

Well its been a great weekend, I've done NOTHING. I haven't even cleaned, Paul's been cleaning and its awesome! My herbs are doing well, I'm a bit worried about the Dill, I think Magoo had a snack because it looks a bit worn in places, but if thats all I've got to be worried about right now thats awesome.
I think we're gonna do a load of things from my house with the truck, its the middle of July and we still haven't done anything with it....

Well, 3 weeks back and I need another vacation. I need to start keeping a blog here, just to keep an update on things I guess. You can laugh Amy! Things aren't much different, I'm rested now and in the process of moving in with Paul. I live there, I just need to finish getting my stuff. The place is great though, and it makes me so happy to be so happy with him! :)
So my plan with this thing is to post when important things happen and to keep you people up to date on the world of Carrie! :)

well, I'm back and I still can't see straight. We couldn't find the internet easily in the south, so I just didn't post anything. Down in the bammer they're like "Tha Intranet...waz dat?" hahaha...
After leaving `Roo we headed to the Jack Daniels distillery with Natalie and Steve and learned all about how the stuff is made, its pretty interesting and stinky.
From there we trecked on down to New Orleans and set the city on fire. We had a blast, found a place to stay 2.5 blocks from Burbon Street. You know its bad when YOU (and your friends) are the spectical of Burbon Street. haha I'll never forget the times we had there. We invened our own cemetary tour and saw some sick shit. I'm talkin BONES people.
After we managed to find our way out of the city we departed from Steve and Natalie and headed down to the foot of LA. We stopped when the water flooded over the road and decided to head back.
We had the worst camping experience in Mississippi. Lesbian Mullets woke us up at 8am blasting some Def Leppard. Yikes. We followed the Gulf for a ways, and I lost my visor on my helmet! I leaned back to catch the breeze and SNAP it just flew off. I cried about it later when I got smacked in the face by the rain. We travelled through MS, AL, Clipped FL and then went back into AL and spent the night outside of Montgomery. We met a really cool biker there named Dave. We shared stories and learned a lot.
We woke up and headed into GA. I think I want to spend some time checking out Atlanta, I seemed to be very impressed by the place, and its an hour from some beautiful mountains. We found a free campsite that night in the national forest that was just beautiful. Some 4Hers gave us some water and it was all good.
From there we went and drove through NC and TN. Oh the beauty. We camped out on some river in TN in the National Forest there, road the Cherohala Skyway and road "The Tail of the Dragon" Some 318 curves in 11 miles, it was SWEET.
After leaving there we drove through the rain to just outside Nashville and I called it quits...I needed a bed and a good rest.
After that we went up through TN, KY, and then stayed the night outside of Indianapolis.
We got caught in some shitty ass traffic from there, to Chicago and on up to Wisconsin. We made it to Phish though, ate some pills and DANCED DANCED DANCED. I got to hear David Bowie, Golgi Apparatus, Buffalo Bill, Mike's song (YES!!!!), Waukeepaug Groove, YEM, and they encored with Sample. We had a shit time finding a hotel in Milwaukee, but we finally found one at 3am, and slept and then found a way cheaper one the next day! (of course)
Saturday's show was so wonderful. What a way to end with Phish. I tried to hold back the tears. They played the Moma Dance, Divided Sky, WILSON, opened the 2nd set with Boogie on Reggae Woman, into Ghost, into Free and then ended the set with HARRY HOOD!!!! They encored with Possum, which was Phat. What a way to go out boys, thank you.
We took the speed Ferry from Milwaukee to Muskegon and got home yesterday at 3pm.
I'm tired. I slept all day and night, and I'm still tired.
THIS TRIP RULED.

TOday is my birthday....dododododod...Happy Birthday to me!!
Man, this festival is so much fun, I've seen so many great musicians and just had a blast. We've only been able to meet up with Frank but its all good, hopefully we'll be able to meet up with everyone and enjoy the party favors for tonight...its THE DEAD!!! Whoooo!!!
Everything is going smoothly, its hotter than fucking hell here, but we're managing to still keep the smiles coming...we've got one more day here and then we start trucking to Nola...

I'm going crazy, I just want to get out of town!!! Ahhhhh!!! Things have been a bit crazy with getting ready to leave, we were supposed to have our tent on Thursday, and the bike back on Saturday...
Luckily I was able to get the bike keys yesterday, and the tent came, so the worry has lifted from our shoulders...now all we have to do is pack tonight....
All I can think about is being on the road for 2.5 weeks...sex, drugs, and rock `n roll baby!!

Well, dispite thinking a live journal wasn't for me, I realized that for a trip journal its perfect. We leave in 5 days, we're heading down to Bonnaroo on the evening of June 9th. I cannot wait, my birthday is on the 12th, what a present! Dave and Friends play into the beginning of my birthday, I can't imagine a better gift, Dave and Trey jammin out in the whee hours of my birthday. I'll probably cry...
Bonnaroo ends on the 13th and from there we're travelling south to New Orleans. We plan on staying there a few days, I have a feeling some suprises are in store for me, so I'll let you know. Hopefully we'll be able to ride down on the bayou, we want to ride as far as we can and then stop to eat some crawfish. Yeehaw!
From there we're heading east, clipping all the states, and then we're heading north into South Carolina and into the mountains of North Carolina and surrounding areas (Kentucky, Tennessee and such). From there we're heading into VA to Winchester again to see Lara and Tami. I didn't get to see them much last time I was there, so I want to catch up more. Its awesome to be able to be in touch with them again, it makes me smile. :)
After that we head west and eventually north to Wisconsin where we will catch 2 nights of Phish on the 25-26. PHEW. I can't wait, its the final tour, so I'll probably cry there as well. After that we'll shoot home and then pass out.
So I figured some of you would want to know how the trip is going...so I created this! :)
